Karen Chabert, RN, Forensic Nurse Examiner is the President of DNA-Dynamic Nursing Associates in New Orleans, LA. DNA will provide quality Legal Nurse Consulting services to the attorney for the defense or the plaintiff. She is a Registered Nurse with a license in Louisiana, but can consult on cases anywhere. Karen has over 30 years of nursing experience in various fields, the early part of her career in Adult Trauma and the later in Forensic Nursing and Death Investigation. In addition to Legal Nurse Consulting, Karen does presentations nationally on forensic topics and tailors each seminar to the participants' needs, socio-economic, cultural diversity and education levels. She is also very involved in their community and is on the Board of Directors for the Charity Hospital School of Nursing Alumni Association, the Irish Channel Neighborhood Association and has held positions on the City of New Orleans Domestic Violence and Juvenile Justice Commissions. Karen has also been the International Association of Forensic nurses South Central Regional Representative. She was a founding member of the Metropolitan Partners Against Crimes, a juvenile delinquency prevention task force in New Orleans. She has published articles in print, newsletters, and the internet. She has worked with some of the foremost forensic scientists in the world. At present, Karen is working on her Private Investigator's license. DNA provides a guarantee to its clients. A 5 day window of opportunity exists for the client who, if he or she feels not satisfied with the professional quality work product, can have the job re-worked until the client is fully satisfied.
