MARKETING for the LEGAL NURSE CONSULTANT
The goal of marketing for the LNC is to generate an inquiry. The marketing initiative must motivate the reader to make that call or send an email inquiry for more information. LNC marketing efforts must clearly present reasons why only you can provide the service important to the attorney or subcontracting LNC. Your materials, brochure, letter, web page must address the needs of your prospective client and explain why only you can provide this service. The materials must list the advantages of this service. A letter, brochure or web page must list Expert Experience, explain your services, state your pricing. These materials must address the needs of your prospective client, explain why only you can provide these services and list the advantages of your services. Clearly, you must start with a Business Plan that determines the needs in your area. How many law firms are there? What do they do? The purpose of this section is to make sure that you are addressing your local market. Web inclusion is a part of this package. You may receive contacts through the web or your attorney-client may look up your web address to obtain additional information or confirm an opinion drawn from a brochure. For each approach, paper and web, identify the unique skills that you offer and why they are more valuable than the skills of others, like length of time in experience or special situations. Your marketing materials, paper and web, must communicate not only the basics but also why the attorney is better off using your services than those of another LNC or a paralegal.
