Discover Medical Legal Consulting was established in 2004 by Maureen Cichowlas and has been providing clients with cost efficient reliable service whenever review and analysis of medical records is required. She has consulted on a variety of cases for both defense and plaintiff cases. I have 23 years of clinical experience in Emergency, trauma and Post Anesthesia Care. I still practice clinically as a staff nurse. The majority of my experience has been for Defense attorneys reviewing medical and pharmaceutical malpractice cases with successful outcomes for my clients. I have reviewed cases as an expert for Plaintiff and Defense attorneys, providing affadavits of merit. I also have assessed injuries for Plaintiff personal injury cases. I am able to meet the needs of my attorney clients depending on the case. Certified Legal Nurse Consultant and has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing. Services provided include: Chronologies and Summaries that can be used as tools for deposition and provide a clear overview of the cases. Brief or Comprehensive Reports that identify deviations and adherences to the Standards of Care and identify causation issues, contributing factors and/or assess injuries.
