Integrity Legal Nursing Consultants Patricia Ramey RN LNC
Will Consult and Review Cases Will Testify Clinical Experience 25 Years Consulting Experience 15 Months
My nursing career began in 1973 as a nursing assistant student at Parkway Hospital. During that time, my ambition and quest for additional knowledge prompted me to further my education. I soon obtained my LPN and RN degrees from Calhoun College. As an RN, I have worked in various positions and areas in hospitals: staff nurse, nurse manager, director of nursing, and eventually became a travel nurse. Each position and environment change broadened my skills and abilities and heightened my understanding of the medical milieu and other career impacting factors. In 2006, I attended the Professional Studies Program at Kaplan University and pursued a Legal Nurse Consulting Certificate. As a legal nurse consultant, I address issues such as nursing shortages, medical malpractice, JCAHO's National Patient Safety goal Standards and other issues that involve al facets of the medical world. My experience has given me an excellent understanding of nursing and health related issues that would be an asset to any attorney or business. I have participated in and assisted on cases that involve personal injury, medical record review, medical and healthlaw research, interviewing and investigating, life care planning, rehabilitation medical malpractice, expert witness and witness preparation, discovery and elder care management. I am a member of the Birmingham Local Chapter and National AALNC. Nurse Entrepreneurs Network, Blacks in Government Madison Chapter;, RN Market Who's Who of Cambridge Professional Registry, Ministerial Alliance, Women with a Purpose, and the Health Ministry at Hope Community Church.
