Post for LNC

Recently, “Attorney Posts” was changed to “Post for LNC”.  In August 2006, we had one attorney posting that read, “ Need a nurse expert witness with qualifications and experience to testify in IV infusion of phenergan in L&D situation, preferably from OHIO.  Do not send CV, send short email.  Will respond to preferred candidates only.”

 Several members responded to the Posting, or at least requested the attorney address.  No one informed Find LNC if they received a case from it.  So, maybe someone did receive a case and did not tell us or maybe they didn’t.  Attorney Posts was available and advertised on AOL, MSN, and Yahoo.  At this time, we have an approach from a different angle, Post for LNC.  This posting privilege is available to Legal Nurse Consultants as well as attorneys and outside parties.  Say that you have a case and need to subcontract.  You can browse the “Subcontract List” or you could place a posting.  The Posting privilege is available to members and non-members.  The Post would be available for all members to see and consider.  Member applicants would email Find Legal Nurse Consultant at findlegalnurse@yahoo.com.  This email will enable you obtain the email address of the person who made the Post and respond with a personal message and probably a resume/CV.

A recent Poll indicated that some of you are available to Subcontract and you are listed under “Will Subcontract” on the Find Legal Nurse Consultant menu.   The LNC Post is an additional method of contact.  The next time an LNC with a case needs to subcontract, search first for Find Legal Nurse Consultant members. 

 Occasionaly, FindLNC receives a telephone call or email looking for someone to subcontract or be an Expert Witness.  Any of those request, will be placed in LNC Post if the caller allows.  This approach will give us more of a chance for success with LNC Postings.   

So, Post for your Subcontract Needs.    Check ahead of time – line up your crew now.
