As an experienced nurse, my background includes Teaching, Trauma and General Surgery, Oncology, Cardiology, Diabetes, Pain Management, Acute Rehabilitation, Long Term Care and Nursing Management. I am a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant who is very knowledgeable of hospital regulatory standards in compliance with the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). I have strong ability to assess daily health care services and standards of care. When I was an Assistant Clinical Service Director and a Clinical Manager I ensured adherence to recognized standards of care and risk management. In application of my abilities as a bedside nurse, I gave expert testimony as a Fact witness in a Nursing Home deposition, where I analyzed medical records to prove compliance with standards of care. I have worked with another Legal Nurse Consultant in a subcontracting role.
