Most of my Nursing career has been Middle to upper management. During the course of employment, I have been involved with a variety of Legal aspects of management encompassing the care rendered and responsibility of staff and their performance evaluations as related to direct care they gave to clients. As part of a team, I was involved with Utilization/ Quality Management for the Units assigned. The strength of my career is the ability to focus on client medical-surgical nursing needs, assessment, documentation. Standards of care are paramount and clearly defined via American Nurse's Association, State guidelines for licensure and practices. Law has always been of interest to me. My main interest is with the elderly and children and those unable to comprehend or speak up for themselves. I am an advocate for informing and teaching what to expect with regard to care rendered.
